Trickster Tales:  Coyote Paperslide Videos

To explore trickster tales as a portion of their study of early American literature, students formed cooperative groups and worked together to create a paperslide video to bring a selected Coyote legend to life.  The character of Coyote is common in the folklore of many Native American tribes.  You can browse a collection of Coyote stories here.

Teachers:  More information about paperslide videos (and a really awesome planning sheet you can use with students) is available here.  We filmed with QuickTime using MacBook Airs and uploaded to YouTube afterward.
